Clitoris Pain

For years now I have been having pain on the clitoris. I have gone to several drs. and so far it is a mystery. Nobody can figure it out. I am wondering if it has something to do with the nerves on it. A hypersensitivity that my brain is perceiving as pain rather then just very very sensitive. Also it comes and goes. Sometimes it is there and sometimes its not.

Any Ideas? Anybody with this problem?
