I have a few grouped together wounds on my upper abdomen that are extremely itchy and warm. If you pinch the skin lightly around the wounds it is quite sensitive and sore. It started with the largest scabbed ones on the side and the other two itchy areas have appeared in the past week.
I am not sure if this might be scabies, some sort of strange bug bite or mite. I went swimming in our outside neighborhood pool several times in the past month, and thought it could be swimmer's itch or chlorine rash as well.
Any thoughts on what this may be as it appears to be spreading and not getting better?
