I had a heart attack 5 weeks ago caused by a 95% blockage of the left coronary artery and had a stent put in where the blockage was. Since then I have had several instances of chest pains, probably angina as the nitroglycerine spray has generally helped in these cases.
One thing that particularly appears to bring on the pain is having long conversations, particularly with people who are fast talking, loud, assertive characters. Even one play I went to which involved a lot of loud, hyper behaviour appeared to bring on the chest pains. Has anyone else had the same experience? If so, is there anything one can do about it other than leading a quiet life and trying to stick with quiet, relaxed people (not always easy to do, there are many people who are not like that including in my case a number of long-term friends who I think would find it impossible to alter their behaviour!)
