For just over a year I have had " pain" under both ribs and around to my back (sometimes). It feels like a tight, big feeling and hurts when I move like my ribs are hitting something. It's not a sharp pain or a throbbing pain. For two weeks now I have had breathing problems.I even wheeze when I breath in sometimes. I cannot get a good breath in and I feel like am suffocating all the time, but I am not. They checked my O2 levels and they are fine. When I take a deep breath I don't get that sensation of satisfaction. I have had a chest X-ray, abdominal ultrasound and heart echo that are all normal. They have done blood work that is normal EXCEPT for my iron level that is high, but my ferritin is normal. THEY DID FIND THAT I HAD A LOT FREE GAS IN MY ABDOMINAL CAVITY 9 through the ultrasound). I have a f\u appt 8/8. Has anyone had breathing problems from the gas not letting the diaphragm move properly? Any idea what might cause the free gas in my abdominal cavity? I have not had any surgeries in years, so it's not from that. I do not have any stomach or intestinal issues except I do have some belching and flatulence here and there, especially when I eat gluten. Thanks in advance for your help! Blessings!!!
