IgA Test Elevated

Hello, I am in need of information and hope somebody can help. I had been tested by endoscopy for celiac disease and my biopsies were negative. Now, several years later, I am having gas and bloating, so my doctor wanted to do bloodwork. She did the following tests: a full blood panel, and endomysial IGA Antibody all which was negative, but the IGA blood was elevated. Can anyone fill me in what IGA Antibody test does? And if it is high, does that mean celiac disease?
