Is it normal or acceptable for the grandmother of an 8 year old girl to make the child wear maxi pads (intended for use during menstruation) on a daily basis either in case of accidents or to prevent staining in the child's underwear, taking into consideration that the child has extremely rare occasions of accidents. I'm worried this can cause yeast infections. My daughter has also told me that her grandmother doesn't allow her to bathe herself, that washing her hair and body is done by her grandma. My child is 8 and on the verge of young womanhood and she complains that her grandma treats her like a baby. What should I do...is this normal or acceptable treatment...I need advice...
My 8 yr olds grandma...is this acceptable behavior towards my child?
