Hello all,
I had a blood draw in San Fransisco and I suspect that the needle might have been reused. This was on the 14th of March.
The time line of events as follows.
2 days after blood draw: Start to get dizzy and have joint pain..
2 weeks after blood draw: I got a standard blood test and WBC is 7.5. Start getting headaches and dizziness is still around.
2-4 weeks: Still getting headaches and dizziness, rash appears on face and get a itchy body when outside.
4-6 weeks: Headaches and dizziness are gone. Test negative for HIV and Hep C, WBC is 4.6 at 6 weeks.
6-7 weeks: Start getting a sore throat that lasts for a few days.
7-11 weeks: Dizziness and headaches come back and the sore throat comes and goes.
12 weeks: Test negative for HIV and Hep C, WBC still 4.6, slightly hightened liver enzymes.
12-14 weeks: Dizziness and Headache still linger around, slight liver pain and on and off sore throat.
14-19(current) weeks: Dizziness and headache still around, slight liver pain and on and off sore throat. During these weeks I had a normal blood test with the WBC dropping to 4.0.
I have tested negative to HIV and Hep C at 12 weeks but are the on going symptoms and lowering WBC reason enough to believe there is still an infection and would further testing be necessary?
Thanks.
