Hello everyone, I am new on this forum. I 've had asthma since I was 16 years ( I am 27 years now ) old but it wasn't much of a bother , in fact I used to have few flares ups per year. This year though I'm suffering from it like never before :(.I did a spirometry test recently and it came out with these results : fvc =5.97 ( 108 %), fev1= 3.93 ( 85 % ), fev1/fvc= 0.66, FEF25-75%=2.75 (56%). I am on Foster 100/6 2 puffs twice a day after 2 months on Symbicort 200/4 one puff twice a day because the doctor said it has smaller particles so it will reach better the smaller airways. I am just wondering what type of asthma ( severity ) do I have regarding these results ? ( Forgot to mention that I am allergic to dust mites ).
