I was led to this blog in search of purehypercholesterol emia = never heard of it. anyway i am 64, 208 lbs recently got a new doctor, first visit bp was very good 113/60 most of the time throughout my life it is about the same good with low numbers he said he was impress; went back for test results and he came in wanting me to say high bp runs in the family; retested my bp engaging in a conversation i asked him would it be accurate since we talked during testing. He then said my blood glucose was 131 maybe borderline diabetes to change my diet and lifestyles; everything else looked good. Anyway i view my records online to find he had diagnoses of morbid obesity, gerds arthiritis type 2 diabetes and purehypercholesteroemia , in the office my total cholesterol was 209. He never discuss any type of treatment/preventative After reading the blog on purehypercholesterolemia it sound familar to my circumstances = should i get another doctor because he does not and did not act sincere never had this diagnosis before an not been in hosp or sick badly >
