I do suffer from highly dry eyes and have been prescribed sodium car boxy methyl cellulose for the same.Bit since I use these eye drops only two times a day sometimes I wash my eyes with water to relax my eyes.I do make sure when I finish washing my eye I take a drop of water in my finger and pour it as a drop in both my eyes and keep it closed for a minute and so.But now I started realizing that it doesn't do anything to keep my eyes moist and so I am now starting to worry whether using of water as drops is harmful to eye or not?
Does using water as an eye drop is detrimental to the eye?
