Hi, I've had previous arm and wrist ops. But my right wrist is playing up again. I had an arthroscopy and open PIN neurectomy a couple of years ago, my consultant said he doesn't want to do the wrist fusion as its the last resort.
How ever the last few weeks its been a different pain, I've had to start wearing my brace again even at work. I got an appointment with my Drs monday just gone and he requested an X-ray. I said what the consultant had said about not doing the fusion and my dr said it might come to that.
I'm at work and management know wats going on, one of the team leaders said to me bring your brace to work. Which is a good thing. One thing Dr said that if hurts and I'm at work he can sign me off and I was like i can't have anymore time of sick, not only that I can't afford it.
I'm wondering has anyone else had this done and if so what was recovery period and did you have to stay in hospital over night.
