Back in January, I got an ear infection, it wasn't the mildest infection, but it cleared up promptly with antibiotics.
However, since then I've had this chronic 24/7 full/stuffy feeling in that ear and vertigo to match. The severity of the vertigo can go up and down but it never goes away.
I went to see an ENT, figuring, there must be something physically wrong with my inner ear, maybe fluid trapped or something, and he told me " you have vestibular migraines". However, that typically involves hearing loss, which I don't haves. I can believe my "sinus headaches" were actually migraines all along, but if that were really the cause of the vertigo why did it only start happening after a bad ear infection, and why is constant rather than just in proximity to headaches?
After the migraine diagnosis, it's hard to get doctors to take my concern seriously, and I honestly think the diagnosis was wrong. Does anyone have any clue what this vertigo could really be?
