My Dr. told me she wants me to gain weight before I can have surgery to remove my gall bladder and fix a hernia.
The odd thing is, I had gained some weight (due to Hypothyroidism) and then only lost 5 lbs. Now she tells me I have to gain that back and even more. She didn't specify how much. She also told me that the medication for the Hypo will cause me to lose weight.
She also wants me to get my Cholesterol down. At this rate, I am wondering if I will even be having surgery before the year is out. I have some miserable days due to the gall stones and hernia.
If nothing else, I would like to get the hernia fixed.
Are there any suggestions I can use to hasten getting surgery done?
