Can't get rid of gas after gallbladder surgery_HELP!!!!!!!

HI i have had Gallbladder and Appendix remove at the end of June 2016. its now 6 weeks from surgery. I have had more pain after surgery than i had before... i have lots of gas pain. well that i call it. i was having no pain all day until i go to bed. than at usually 4 am the pain wakes me up from sleeping and it like waves of pain i bring water almost 2- 16 oz bottles of water than i belch a lot and it goes away.... PLEASE HELP!!!!!!! i need sleep
