I'm a 46 year old female and about 6 weeks ago I went to a physical therapist for fibromyalgia that I've had for over a decade and I've been going for years. I was laying face down and she gently dropped only the part of the table my head was on maybe an inch, not far at all. I immediately felt dizzy, no pain or anything. I've never felt dizzy before in my life. After that I went home and had a vertigo type episode with the room spinning and from there on I've been off balance 24/7, it seems to be getting worse. I can barely get around my house and can no longer drive. They did the test for vertigo and said i was negative. I'm getting an MRI tomorrow. I'm just wondering if anyone has had an experience like this and what could be wrong, I've become so anxious and depressed over this and I'm not an anxious person at all. Any help or thoughts please? :(
Also my doctor felt it was sinus or inner ear related and gave me steroids, antibiotics and antihistamines and nothing helped.
