Looking for over the counter treatment, here's the background....A month ago my vagina started feeling irritated after having sex and using sex toys with my husband. then itching and burning followed a day after. I tested positive for yeast infection was treated and felt better. A couple weeks after treatment we were having sex and using our toys again and as soon as my husband inserted the sex toy in me I felt the burning sensation again immediately. We researched and found that these cheaper sex toys that are made of a "jelly-like" material can cause a chemical burn in the vagina. I'm embarrassed to tell my gyno!! Is there an over the counter treatment for this? It burns inside my vagina, no itching, just irritation.
