I'm 8 months post operation patella femoral replacement and just started hearing squeeking and now some pain. Why? I had problems to begin with when my quad muscle wouldn't activate. I couldn't lift my knee for 6 weeks post operation. It's better now on that instance but now I'm worried about this. I don't have nearly as much pain as I did before surgery but I'm getting worried now. I'm only 42, and was told I would need a full replacement within 5 yrs if I was lucky. Am I overreacting? Help!
