I'm just wondering if anyone here could tell me if I'm at risk for HIV and if I should be concerned.
Ive had and enlarged lymph node for about 5 months that goes up and down in my neck but never fully resolves. I had bacterial tonsilitis 4 months ago and recently have had a viral URTI.
I've never had sexual intercourse. I've never done intravenous drugs. I work as an ED nurse however Ive never had a needle stick injury before. I have gotten blood on my hands from a venepuncture however i couldnt see any open cuts on my hands at the time.
Should I be worried about having HIV or am I being silly?
